TEDCO Construction was selected to build the 2-story 45,000 SF building shell by the Urban Redevelopment Authority. The University of Pittsburgh purchased the building and selected TEDCO to perform the fast-tracked interior build-out.
A Green Building Alliance LEED Gold Certified building, the Institute contains medical offices and research laboratories. This high-technology structure is home to the development of artificial organs, cellular therapy and tissue engineering, and medical devices.
